These are the questions Brampton contractors ask us most often, answered as plainly as we can. If yours isn't here, call, text or email; a senior strategist will answer. The full set of short answers appears above; the sections below add context on the four topics that come up most.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Trades.Agency plans start at $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, or $1,499 a month billed annually. Elite is $3,999 and Enterprise $7,999 a month, with lower annual rates. Ontario clients add 13% HST. Ad spend and translation are separate.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no long-term contract: plans renew monthly and end with 30 days' notice from you. Choosing annual billing is optional and simply lowers the monthly price.
How soon will I see results?
Paid search can produce calls within days. Local SEO typically takes several months to build. We give every new channel a fair test, usually about 90 days, before judging it.
Do you write Punjabi and Hindi ads?
No. We write the English source copy, the glossary and the brief, and we plan and measure the campaigns. A qualified native-speaking translator writes the Punjabi or Hindi, and we recommend a second native speaker reviews it.
Do I need to run ads in Punjabi to win customers in Brampton?
Not necessarily. Many Punjabi-speaking homeowners search in English. Often the bigger win is being able to answer the phone in Punjabi. We test before recommending a full campaign.
We tried an agency before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
We can't promise it will be. What we can promise is that you'll see cost per booked job by service and language every month, you'll own every account, and you can leave with 30 days' notice if it isn't working.
Who owns the website, ad accounts and Google Business Profile?
You do. Everything is set up in your business's name, or we work inside accounts you already own. If we part ways, you keep it all, including any translations you paid for.
Can you promise first place on Google?
No, and nobody honestly can. Google states that local rankings can't be bought or requested. We work on the things that influence them and report the results plainly.
What reports will I get?
A monthly scorecard with leads, reply times, estimates booked, jobs won and cost per booked job, split by service, ward group and language. Clicks and impressions go in an appendix.
Are you a contractor or a lead-selling service?
Neither. We don't install, repair or service anything, and we don't sell your leads to other businesses. We market contracting businesses and advise their owners.
Do you only work with HVAC companies?
No. Our published case studies are results from our HVAC work, but we work with roofers, plumbers, electricians, renovators, landscapers and other Brampton contractors.
Do you have an office in Brampton?
No. Brampton.Marketing is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver. Consultations run by video call or in person, plus phone, text and email, and we check our work against what Brampton searchers actually see.
Cost, contracts and what's included
Our plans are the published Trades.Agency plans, starting at $1,999 a month month-to-month or $1,499 a month on annual billing, with 13% HST for Ontario clients. They are month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. The pricing page has the full table and a worked example.
Two things are always separate: your ad spend, which Google bills to your own account, and translation, which you pay directly to the translator you choose. We'd rather you saw those costs clearly than had them buried in a bundled fee.
Languages and translation
Brampton's language mix is one of the most distinctive things about marketing here. More than a fifth of residents reported Punjabi as a mother tongue in the 2021 Census, and Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu and Tamil each accounted for a few percent.
We plan campaigns around that, but we're careful about what we claim. We write English source copy, glossaries and briefs; we don't write Punjabi or Hindi copy ourselves. Qualified native speakers do that, and a second native speaker should review it. Our translator briefing guide shows exactly how, and the multilingual campaigns page explains how we run the campaigns.
If you've been burned before
Plenty of contractors come to us after a bad experience: an agency that owned their website, reports full of impressions and no calls, or a contract they couldn't escape.
Here's how we try to avoid repeating that:
- You own everything: domain, website, profile, ad accounts and data.
- Reports show booked jobs, not just clicks.
- Month-to-month terms with 30 days' notice.
- Honest verdicts: if a channel doesn't work after a fair test, we say so and recommend stopping it.
None of that promises results. It does make it much easier to see whether marketing is working, and to leave if it isn't.
Timelines and what to expect in the first quarter
Owners often ask when they'll know whether this is working. The honest answer depends on the channel.
- Fixes to your Google Business Profile and call handling can show up within weeks, because they affect leads you're already getting.
- Paid search produces calls within days of launch, but it takes a month or two of search-term clean-up before costs settle.
- Local SEO and new service pages usually take several months to build, and longer in competitive trades.
- A Punjabi or Hindi test needs about 90 days and a few dozen leads before you can judge it fairly.
We write these expectations into the plan before anything starts, so neither side is guessing. Our budget guide explains how we judge a test at the 90-day mark.
Results and reporting
You'll get one monthly scorecard, not a forty-page export. It shows how many leads came in, how quickly each was answered, how many became estimates and jobs, and what each booked job cost, split by service, ward group and language. If you track job values, we add revenue too. Clicks and impressions sit in an appendix for anyone who wants them.
The results page shows the kind of outcomes we report on, drawn from our HVAC work.
Working with a Vancouver-based team
Brampton.Marketing is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Marketing work happens in search results, ad accounts, profiles and websites, so location matters less than responsiveness.
