What drives your total cost
The plan fee is only one part of what you spend. A realistic monthly picture has three or four lines:
- The plan fee, from the table above.
- Ad spend, paid to Google. This depends on your trade, your cost ceiling per lead and how many extra jobs you can take.
- Translation and review, if you run Punjabi or Hindi campaigns. This is usually a one-off cost per batch of pages and ads, plus small updates.
- Your team's time on follow-up, reviews and photos. It doesn't appear on an invoice, but it matters.
A worked example
Here's how one Brampton contractor might budget for a first quarter. The figures are illustrative; your numbers will differ.
| Line | Monthly | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Growth plan, month-to-month | $1,999 | plus 13% HST |
| Google Ads, English | $2,000 | paid to Google |
| Google Ads, Punjabi test | $500 | paid to Google, from month 2 |
| Translation | one-off | quoted by your translator |
If the contractor's break-even cost per lead is $200 and the campaigns deliver leads at $140, the ads alone produce about 18 leads a month. At a 30% booking rate, that's around five extra jobs. Whether that pays depends on the job value, which is why we start with the arithmetic in our budget guide.
Costs that surprise owners, and how to avoid them
A few costs catch Brampton contractors off guard, so it's worth naming them up front.
- Translation updates. Prices, offers and seasonal ads change. Budget for small translation updates through the year, not just the first batch.
- Photography. Real photos of your own jobs matter more than any design. Your crew's phone is usually good enough, but someone has to take them.
- Seasonal ad swings. A furnace company's November clicks cost more than its May clicks. Plan the year, not just the month.
- Second phone lines. If you route Punjabi or Hindi calls to a particular team member, you may need a separate tracking number for each language.
None of these are fees paid to us, but they belong in your plan.
How to choose a plan
- Growth suits most owner-led contractors starting with local SEO, lead follow-up and one paid campaign.
- Elite suits firms running several channels at once, such as English and Punjabi campaigns plus a new website, and the website discount often makes the difference.
- Enterprise suits larger multi-crew firms that want a dedicated team and a full multilingual website built as part of the plan.
If the numbers say you aren't ready for any plan, we'll tell you. Sometimes the right first step is fixing call handling yourself for a month.
What you always keep
Whatever plan you choose, you own your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts, call-tracking data and every piece of copy, including the translations you paid for. If you leave, you take everything with you.
